If theres a WORST FAT, in the good fats vs bad fats War (other than Chinese GUTTER OIL), IN USA it's Partially Hydrogenated oils. Leading up to the Trans Fat Phase out DEADLINE in June 2018, our BLOG kept readers abreast of which Brand used this artificial derivative. It was PRIMARILY used to FRY DONUTS, potato CHIPS, AND in buttercream FROSTINGS, including Duncan Hines, for its ability to hold shape and not melt in hot sunny outdoor events.

As you can clearly see, Partially hydrogenated oil is listing in the sub ingredients of the cereal pieces in CTRL and Ghost, while eat-me-guilt-free traps consumers with clean eatin jargon on the box and package, while continuuing the brutal tradition of trans-fats processors making typo errors on Product Package (spelling food coloring incorrectly without listing the official chemical names (FD & C ..) but instead writing "liquid red food colour" perhaps intending to spell "color" with a U to make it sound more European and therefore safe. Pathetic!

- 4/19 Emailed A Henderson NV office about Ghost Protein
-heard back from Florida DACS (food safety division) that my report on EatMe GF was received assign a case # and an answer will be issued within 2 weeks
- Emailed Natural Products Assoc where Vitamin Shoppe is a member to alert them to this wild breach of food safety using artificial hazardous toxic trans fats.
4-28 - emailed retail specialist Natali at Vitamin Shoppe to alert her of Presence of PHOS in CTRL and EMGF Brownies. 4-29 hear back they are looking into it.
5/1 emailed info@eatmeguiltfree.com to inquire about their PHO uses (no response as of 5/21)
May 3rd, Natali gets back to me siting outdated guidelines that manufacturers are allowed to claim 0 trans fat if its less than 0.5g per serving.
May 7th i see Natali's response and fwd her the guidance on Phase Out Deadlines issued by FDA in 2018.
& Fwd Natali's response to Regulatory review scientist at FDA, Ellen Anderson
May 9th, hear back from Ellen @ FDA that compliance dept has been notified of ongoing infraction. Ellen Wrote "You are correct that PHOs are not permitted in foods marketed in the U.S. after January 1, 2021. Foods that contain PHOs are considered adulterated under section 402(a)(2)(C)(i) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. "
